Grocer Realizes a 50% Savings on More Than 1200 Point-of-Sale Units
Our client needed to upgrade their POS hardware, but their IT budget was limited. Initially concerned about buying used equipment, they were ultimately impressed by TDX Tech’s “no worries” warranty program and high quality of the refurbished hardware.
TDX Tech made their decision easy. We refurbished each POS base unit, receipt printer, monitor, barcode scanner, and provided a new keyboard and scanner scale with every system. Each system was visually and vigorously stress tested to ensure a smooth transition for our customer to a new POS hardware environment.
Led and completed by our experienced technical center associates, our team worked closely with the customer. Following our managed integration and staging processes, TDX Tech refurbished, configured, staged, and delivered over 1,200 POS systems on-time and on budget.
Each store’s hardware requirements were unique, varying in equipment models, counts, and repair & refurbishment requirements. The deployed equipment also included imaged & configured POS hard drives. By utilizing the capabilities of our proprietary web-based software solution, WebTrax, our customer had (and continues to have) access to shipment information; including equipment models and counts sent to every store tracked by serial number.
By purchasing refurbished POS hardware from TDX Tech instead of an OEM or other resellers, our customer saved over 50% of their budget. More than a year has passed and, not surprisingly, our customer continues to buy additional hardware for new store openings from TDX Tech.
